Learning to shoot in Manual Workshop

with Stevie Cruz Photography

After much excitement and interest I am happy to announce my next “Camera Talk” workshop for those wishing to learn how to use their camera in manual mode. The next dates will be Sunday, September 11th. I welcome you to join me on this journey.

Hear what others are saying from their experience:

“The “aha” moment for me today was creating the blurry background. I couldn’t wait to get home and try it out at home. I have a lot of practicing to do, and I’m really excited to get started tomorrow in some natural light! Thanks Stevie!!”  — Leslie P.

“Stevie, your class was amazing! Wish I would have taken this sooner so I would have started taking better pictures without the flash. I rely on the flash so much because I don’t know how else to take the pictures without it blurring. So happy I found you and your class, I actually learned a lot and in love with the metering. I can’t wait to practice all that I learned today. I will write you a Yelp review once I have a chance for sure. Do you have any of the pictures you took of us to share? I wanted to take some but didn’t get a chance. Thanks again.” — Jennifer T.

“Thanks so much for the awesome class today Stevie! Can’t wait to order my prime lens and start practicing for reals” — Jennifer R.

“Thank you so much for today! Looking forward to learning more from you in the future!” — Becca A.

Do you have a desire for Learning to shoot in Manual mode? Well lets Chat! I LOVE Photography and I love inspiring others. As a mom I appreciate all kinds of pictures, by that I mean I love taking pictures on my “big girl camera” and I love snapping pictures on my cell phone. Both types of pictures have a place in my heart. Today I am here to encourage and inspire you to take out that “big girl” and tell it what you want it to do! I am excited to announce my first “Camera Talk” -Learning to shoot in Manual Workshop.

During this 3 hour class I will teach you how to achieve results you will love. I will teach you about the exposure triangle, metering modes, white balance, camera angles, camera settings, camera terminology, ideal consumer labs to print with and more! Tell me you are not excited about learning to *rock* your camera?!

Class will take place in my Anaheim Hills studio from 4-7pm. Following the in-studio class we will move outdoors for some additional exercises (pending weather of-course).  I encourage you to come and practice alongside me. I will answer questions and help you along the way.

Feel free to email me with questions. To confirm, click this link. Full payment of $450 will be required to hold your seat. (I accept cash, check and all major credit cards). Space will be limited to 10 participants. Workshop fee is non-refundable. If for some reason you cannot make it, you may “sell” your spot to someone else. Refunds will not be given due to limited space.

Requirements: DSLR Camera plus lens and a desire to learn your camera, duh right?! (prime lens is strongly suggested; feel free to email me if you have questions what this means, or if you need help making a *dream list*) Point and Shoot cameras will not be ideal for this workshop. Workshop will be “hands on learning format” with visual presentation. This workshop is perfect for that individual wishing to better their camera skills and the non-aspiring professional photographer.
