Donut Smash Birthday Session is all the rage. I mean IF you are born on national donut day, you MUST celebrate with donuts or in this cake a Donut Smash Birthday Session.
This session was all girl… and we loved it. The sprinkles, the pink, the glitter… it all tied in to make this session adorable. The best part, though, was that this girl was not afraid to dig right into that donut! Serious shots are always cute, but I love when littles come in here and get their hands dirty with smashes! As you can see, she was so stoked to get her hands on this giant donut… and it made for the most precious shots. Cake smashes don’t have to be done with the traditional cake. They can be done with cupcakes, donuts, or cakes, or any pretty dessert you can dream up. The best part is that my studio has an amazing sweets resource, so you’ll never have to worry about that part. Let us take care of it for you. They will also make the sweets custom to your session. 
This smash was just for fun, but smashes can be used for milestones to celebrate birthdays, too. We decorate the set with the number or milestone we’re celebrating. It is so special for me to be able to photograph these babes from Fresh 48 or Newborn sessions, to milestone cake smashes celebrating their first birthday! I love being able to watch them grow up right before my very camera! Any smash session comes with pre-smash portraits which include some pretty sweet smiling or serious shots of your little, during smash snaps, and the cutest post smash rubber bubble bath! I am obsessed with this one’s post smash shots! She loved those duckies and her big brown eyes looking at us makes the whole session! The beauty of a post smash bubble bath isn’t just the precious shots we get from it, but it makes sure that you come in and leave with a clean babe!
