Family maternity outdoor photography sessions in Orange County are some of my favorite to shoot. I am so excited to share these sweet little siblings from a recent family photography session. All three sisters were the best of friends; you can see their close in the pictures captured below. As a mom of two sweet girls myself, It is one of my biggest joys to see my kids love each other and bond. I enjoy capturing children in the outdoor environment where they can relax and be ‘themselves’. The surroundings in this session allowed for comfortable twirls in the grass, sweet secrets on the blanket and natural interaction. The pictures captured are natural, beautiful, and timeless.
One of the many benefits of having the pleasure of living in Southern California is the sunshine we get year round. The natural light in these pictures made the shoot feel so warm. It’s the golden glow of the early evening sun dipping into the horizon. It is my favorite time of day to shoot with that beautiful light in the distance.
Days and moments like these are the amazing ones that we want to never forever- But Sadly, as time passes our memory fades. Thankfully, we have photography, which when done correctly, takes you back to the moment and makes you feel as though you are back in the moment reliving the memory.
I am personally not a big fan of posing the children for these sessions. As you can see in the pictures below, its best to let the children lead the way. I simply capture their interactions, emotions, and moments. I love to let children be themselves, having their fun, and I simply capture it.
We do not remember life and moments posed, rather we remember it naturally, so that is exactly what I am aim to capture.
