Family Photographer Orange County | Cecil Lola Clothing Company

Family photography pulls at my heartstrings. I am first and foremost a mom to my 3 little monkeys and ‘they’ are the reason I am so passionate about photography. Often I hear “wow you probably have so many pictures of your family” — Well truth is I don’t…. I often find myself being critical of my work and not ready to invest the time to sit and edit the pictures. I know its bad, but given the ‘homework’ to capture these adorable shirts and I’m in for the challenge. I pulled my little monkeys out to a local field in Yorba Linda, Orange County CA to capture the golden glow and these cute shirts from Cecil Lola. I found the adult shirts to be so fun and humorous so I had to get a couple for my little girls. The ‘mom’ version says “Give me Donuts and Tell me I’m Gorgeous” so naturally the child version is a spin-off Give me Donuts and Tell me I’m a princess” Too perfect right? Well its true we all love donuts and we want to hear we are pretty so the perfect ‘blend’ of words.

As Rachel, owner of Cecil Lola states, “I started this company because I was always buying fun shirts for my son and wanted ones that explained myself. It all started with a tank top with “#momhairdontcare” for me to sport with my crazy mom hair. Then kind of grew from there. Each saying I have relates to me perfectly and feel they can relate well with others. Just a fun way to express ourselves and still be comfy. The name Cecil Lola comes from my grandmothers names because I’m very huge on family and wanted to incorporate them to carry on the memory of fun times!”
