High School Senior Pictures | Dakota Sims

I often shoot little rascals and families so the chance to have a high school senior in-front of my lens that sits still excites me. I usually squeal, clap my hands, awkward happy dances, sings songs …  you name it every time I shoot little rascals.

Dakota is a total beauty with perfect hair, perfect teeth, perfect skin… Basically she’s perfect, but this girl also has brains and a love for photography.

These captures are taken at 2 of my favorite spots in Anaheim Hills, CA. Dakota knew she wanted that dreamy golden light and allowed me to choose the creative location. And right then and there, I knew it was going to be an amazing, amazing high school senior girl session.  Dakota, you are so much fun and of course you share my same passion for the arts so naturally I love your choice of “props”!

Dakota knew from the start that she wanted her senior pictures to have a relaxed vibe and natural flow!  My good friend Kelly took part in shooting this session with me and brought her skills of natural posing.  Shooting with her makes for a fun experience and I love seeing her modeling of the posing as she encouraged Dakota to mirror her body language.
