Maternity sessions are definitely some of my favorites- they’re so exciting and such great milestone sessions. And not to mention exciting when these mamas come to me for Fresh 48 and newborn sessions after their baby enter the world! As a mom of 3, I know the joys, (and lets be real, pains) of pregnancy too.
These sessions are so raw and naturally gorgeous because it shows the excitement and hope for which these moms are looking at their babies with, there is no feeling quite like knowing a little you will be entering the world and running around soon!
This mom looks so beautiful and simple in this session, which shows that in some cases, less really is more- she looks so stunning from her hair to her makeup, to her clothing and natural pregnancy glow. My studio has a professional hair and makeup stylist to help make your look complete and i have a large array of maternity clothing to dress that cute little baby bump too! The backgrounds in these indoor maternity shoots are typically simple and calming so that all the focus is on the mama-to-be. It’s so precious to see how much these ladies look forward to seeing their new little blessings.
There is no love the same as a love a mama has for her babies and these sessions glimpse that perfectly. The glow these ladies have and the devotion they already have for their babies is so beautiful and such a pure love to see in these photos. These are such great milestone pictures, so amazing to look back on with your kids for them to see when they were in your tummy and to show just how excited you were to meet them. Pictures like these look beautiful as canvases on the wall, or as anything you want.
