This time I get to show you one of my own littles that had her own toddler picture session! I took her to a park near me and let her be “her”. Parker loves her princess dresses so of course she had to wear one. One of the perks of being an Orange County photographer is that Orange County, California has so many perfect spots for outdoor pictures. I love doing sessions outside to get the gorgeous California glow at the perfect time. You can clearly see my little one’s personality in these photos. I love capturing her sweet little giggles just as much as her serious looks she gives me. She loves playing with her dress as much as she loves wearing it.
As much as I love my studio, capturing kids in ‘their’ comfort element makes for some of the cutest natural smiles and adorable grins for pictures. I suggest that parents let the kids be kids for their toddler sessions. Summer season calls for some of the most beautiful, warm backgrounds. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to take advantage of this sunny season upon us! Sessions like these are all about letting the kids be kids and not forcing them to sit and smile. We get to photograph their natural laughs and smiles. It also helps with the fact that this is about freezing a moment in time, being able to look back at it and remembering being there. I feel like these natural shots really reach that goal.
