This sweet new baby was the biggest joy to capture at Hoag hospital in Newport Beach for this families Fresh 48 picture session. You can clearly see the love and joy in this couple’s eyes as they held their new baby for the first time. It was the sweetest sight. Being a mother of three I completely understood their happiness. Moments and sessions like these are the reason I love my job. Often times, it is not the days or the months that we remember, but rather the moments. It is such a beautiful honor to get to capture this family’s most important moments.
The raw and pure emotion and expression of these sessions are incredible. I can see joy, fear, excitement and surprise as new parents navigate the first few hours of parenthood for the first time. These amazing sessions are done is “lifestyle” fashion- all I do is observe the beautiful moment and capture it. Every moment is beautiful after you’ve just had your newborn baby. Because of the last minute nature of this session, I only do up to three per month. Up to five months before your due date, you can schedule your session with me.
